About the Author
Sachin Karnik is a storyteller by nature and a voracious reader. Although he has always been fascinated by stories, his journey as a writer began rather late in life, after retiring from his professional service.
A naturally curious person, Sachin enjoys exploring the unknown and diving deep into subjects that catch his attention. Often, a question or an intriguing concept leads him to research, explore possibilities and eventually ask himself, "What if?" That is usually how a story begins to take shape in his mind, with the characters and plot developing along the way.
His books explore a variety of subjects, ranging from human psychology, emotions and relationships to reincarnation, parallel worlds, memory and modern-day technological conspiracies. He enjoys experimenting with different themes and settings rather than restricting himself to any one genre.
For Sachin, research is an important part of storytelling. He likes to understand a subject well enough to make his fictional worlds believable, while keeping the narrative accessible and enjoyable for readers. He believes that fiction is, above all, meant to be enjoyed, leaving readers free to interpret a story in their own way.
Writing has given him an opportunity to pursue his curiosity, explore unfamiliar worlds and, most importantly, tell the stories that take shape in his imagination.
