Writing my 1st Book - Anand Kumar

I have been an avid reader since childhood. Growing up, reading non-fiction was a favourite hobby. That gradually evolved into trying my hand at writing for in-house magazines, etc. This led me to blogging, which gave me a platform to express myself. 

I have been a blogger since 2011 and quite a regular one at that. Encouragement from readers on my blog posts gave me the confidence to try writing a book. 

The book is about Indian Management Style. There are many books that describe the various facets of established management styles, such as Japanese, American, etc. Of late, India as a country, Indian businesses and Indian Managers have made their mark on the global stage. There is a lot of global attention on India. Many foreign multinationals are setting up shop in India. Expats are posted here on assignments. So, I thought this was a good time to publish a practitioner's view on Indian Management Style. The book compares other management styles with the Indian management style and establishes its key attributes.

This is not a fiction or a story. There are no characters as such

For this book, I used to write in the afternoons for about 3 to 4 hours every day except at weekends.

There is no perfect time to start. Starting is important. Progress is far better than Perfection. So, don't wait forever for the entire book to fall into place. Have an idea? Start writing.
